Vergers Cassidy
Where picking your own fruit is a tradition!
In 1892, the Cassidy family purchased the farm located on Old Route 52 (now Route 202). Around the 1960s, the Cassidys broke new ground by establishing the region’s first U-Pick and a roadside apple stand that operated on an “honor system.”
Still in use today at our stand, this payment method piques the curiosity of our visitors. In 1993, with no one to take over the business, the Cassidys passed the torch to the Weibel-Droulers family for the next 19 years.
In 2012, we embarked on this wonderful adventure: welcoming you and providing you with the best pick-your-own experience—or simply letting you savor our homemade products.
Come visit us with your family, friends, or a group. It’s an enchanting spot located just 45 minutes from Montreal. We look forward to welcoming you.
